How long does the buying process with TwoTen Communities take?
TwoTen has inventory properties in our communities, from foundation stage to completion. This gives our investors flexibility to choose the property that meets their time schedule. The time it takes from contract to close can take anywhere from 30 days to 4 months.
How much down payment is required for a TwoTen investment property?
A true investment property requires the purchaser to put a minimum of 20% down, using a conventional loan. VA loans offer no money down and FHA loans require a minimum of 3.5% down, both of which require the investor to occupy the property. These loans would be used for properties that have 2 or more units.
I live out of state. Who will manage my TwoTen investment property?
Good property management companies offer worry-free investments, regardless of your location. They handle leasing, rent collection, maintenance requests, and provide monthly statements and annual reports. Contact us for recommendations!
TwoTen offers a comprehensive warranty for our product. If something requires repair or replacement in the first year, it will be addressed. In the second year, items related to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC will be covered. Additionally, a 10-year limited structural warranty is provided for the structure and foundation.
